Charmaine Peterson is 28 from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She is studying broadcast journalism at Florida A&M University and minors in criminal justice.
During her time at FAMU, Charmaine has worked as a reporter, videographer, editor, and producer for FAMU TV-20's live newscast. She has also spent her time writing sports article for the newspaper "The Famuan." Currently, she is producing a documentary entitled "We Don't Do That!" The documentary takes a look into the stigma surrounding mental health in the African-American community.
Charmaine is also passionate about the sports world. She is one of the executive producers of a weekly sports show "Franchise Sports." The show is a 30-minute local, regional and national sports show that explores and presents highlights, game information and in-depth sports stories.
